IFA Courses Introduction:
The IFA Aromacare Carer’s Certificate course is a practical, hands-on course, teaching learners about touch and massage to communicate caring and understanding with the elderly, children and as a means of stress relief for those who have prohibitive physical and mental conditions. It enables learners to add a new dimension to their care and provides a myriad of skills to safely and effectively apply and experience essential oils for those who, for whatever reasons, are unable to tolerate a standard massage on a couch or the more invasive therapies. Carers will learn there is much that specific essential oils can do to support the path to rehabilitation and wellness and also as a means of self-care. Whether the person in your care is verbal or non-verbal, Aromacare conveys a new channel of communication by way of light touch, inhalation and creates a soothing and nurturing ambience.

The IFA Professional Aromatherapy Diploma course is designed to develop knowledge and understanding of the scientific application of essential oils and evidence-based practice. It provides the learner with a myriad of skills to apply clinical therapeutic treatments in health and social-care environments. Pitched at an advanced level and devised by industry experts, this specialist course is one, if not the most, comprehensive courses available in the market. It enables learners to work confidently with over 60 essential oils and 30 carrier oils, having a thorough understanding of the therapeutic properties of each oil, and extensive methods of application as well as massage. All of which can be tailored to individual clients when applying prescriptive aromatherapy.

IFA Professional Essential Oils Therapy (PEOT) Diploma Course
The IFA Essentials Oils Therapy Diploma (PEOT) is designed to develop knowledge and understanding of producing and formulating aromatherapeutic blends for scientific benefit and clinical application. It provides the learner with the skills to produce their own product line for use on the body and with illnesses of psychosomatic origins or when applying prescriptive essential oils therapy. Pitched at an advanced level and devised by industry experts, pharmacists and chemists, this innovative specialist course is unsurpassed by others. Devised for formulators and for those who don’t wish to apply it physically to clients themselves e.g. through the medium of massage, this course focuses on the myriad of other mediums and how to integrate it alongside other disciplines and health and social care modalities. It enables you to work confidently with over 80 essential oils and 35 carrier oils, having an extensive understanding of the therapeutic properties of each oil, base products, chemistry formulation to produce from scratch and the legalities when selling products.
