Joyce Liu Institute of Naturopathy & Natural Medicine is an authorized NAHA branch in Shanghai.
Joyce Liu Institute of Naturopathy & Natural Medicine is committed to training professional aromatherapy practitioners and promoting the beautiful ideas related to "nature and beauty." Through various teaching modes such as professional courses, certification exams, themed salons, and online courses, we provide the most comprehensive and precise training options for aromatherapy enthusiasts.
Our teaching philosophy is innovative yet not radical, steady and sincere. Since its establishment, it has focused on comprehensive teaching and training for international aromatherapy practitioners, providing students with complete, responsible, and full-service support throughout the process to help them successfully pass the international aromatherapy practitioner certification exam.
The NAHA Aromatherapist Training Course is divided into three levels:
Level 1: NAHA Certified Level 1 Aromatherapist
Level 2: NAHA Certified Professional Aromatherapist
Level 3: NAHA Certified Clinical Aromatherapist
NAHA Level 1 Course Description
Teaching Methods Video + Live Broadcast, unlimited replay during the course period, offline assignments + feedback + credit accumulation. Dedicated teachers will provide progress tracking, teaching guidance, Q&A, and other student services throughout.

Teaching Materials: Electronic version of the materials can be downloaded, saved, or printed.
Course Setup Course duration: 3 months (12 weeks)
Weeks 1-8: Theory Courses
Weeks 9-12: Case Studies and Enhancement
Week 13: Application for Certification Exam
Features: The teaching plan is reasonable, the schedule is tight but not burdensome, making it the ideal course for short-term aromatherapy learning.

1. Overview of Aromatic Chemistry and Main Chemical Components of Essential Oils
2. Safety of Essential Oil Use
3. Basic Human Anatomy and Pathology
Week 5:
1. Ratios and Dosages of Essential Oil Blends
2. In-Depth Discussion and Application of Single Essential Oils and Formulas
3. Basic Human Anatomy and Pathology
Week 6:
1. In-Depth Discussion and Application of Single Essential Oils and Formulas
2. In-Depth Discussion of Carrier Oils
3. Basic Human Anatomy and Pathology
Week 7:

Week 9: Practical Application Guidance, Two Themed Courses:
1. Professional Development of Aromatherapy Practitioners
2. Basic Applications of Aromatherapy
Weeks 10-12:
1. Complete and submit at least 5 case studies offline;
2. Review and preparation for exams;
3. Q&A sessions
After completing the 12-week content and earning the required credits, students can apply for the certification exam in Week 13. The exam schedule will be announced in the latest notice for each session.
Assessment Method
Complete all course learning and submit assignments
Submit 5 case reports
Pass the exam organized by the school
Upon passing the exam, students will receive the NAHA Level 1 Aromatherapy Practitioner Certification.
Note: NAHA membership certification requires passing all exams. Students can voluntarily pay an additional fee for the membership. The school will provide this service.
